Official guidelines and regulations for the AHARA Membership Discount Scheme.
The discount Scheme is reciprocal, and applicable to hotels/ restaurants/resorts/bars and hospitality units who are individual members of the Association.
All member units will allow a discount of 25% to a visiting AHARA member on the production of a valid membership card which is bearing member's photograph.
- Card holders should make an advance reservation informing the member hotel of their holding AHARA Membership Card.
- The discount is applicable on accommodation, food, beverage, and other hospitality services.
- The discount on alcohol shall be 15% Only. (Bulk Packing Not Allowed.)
Discount will also be allowed on take away. However, it will not be allowed if hotels and restaurants are offering lunch/dinner/breakfast etc at discounted packages rates. A discount is applicable on a table of a maximum of seven plus one person only. The Card should be presented before placing the order.
For members of AHARA Executive Committee, discounting will be 50% (on basis of FHRAI & HRANI) on hotel accommodation and on food beverage and other hospitality services.
On alcohol: Buy one and get another one free as privilege for their honorary services towards the association.
The card is non-transferable and can be used only by the person whose signature and photograph appear on the card.
Maximum of 10 days in a year at any hotel and 10 visits in a year at any restaurant.
Valid in AHARA member establishments only.
Includes wife and minor children for rooms. For restaurants, includes wife and dependent family members up to 6 persons.
No discount on hotel bookings made through a travel agent.
Host member's decision will be final for offering discounts as per rules.

These rules are applicable from 1/4/2026. *No Discount cards will be issued for Institutional Membership.
